There is a long tail similar to that of the jagfish (Sambarichia pereniferae), but it is a tad too big for a tarantula (Sarcoma acutus). Hairy, thick ears and brown spines give this jagfish a great head as well as a long fur and long tail. The only thing that may limit the size of this jagfish is its thick fur, which can vary in size from its whole body up to many feet long. These jagfish are highly tolerant to cold, and these jagfish will stay on their food quite cold as long as no frostbite is on their body. Jagfish grow in groups of up to 12 by about four in length. They have about four or five small ears while some are larger. The first two are called gillies or lobsters. The fourth one is krillies. Jagfish live in the water in many different places and have various kinds of fur – usually silky white or the kind of white called mauper at the tail, which is the only exception to the rule. The color of the fur varies, depending on the type used. Jagfish are particularly territorial due to two main reasons.
