A huge update came a few weeks ago, but you can read a good recap of it here: https://github. com/dawkins/rebuild-nvidia-xorg2-xorg0-amd-linux-gnu-2. 1-unix with all recent versions. (This is still quite late to start the upgrade process, but I hope that you can now have the latest release as soon as you can. ) What you'll notice is that the new nvidia-xorg2 packages can also be installed via X11. (I'm assuming that X11 will be the major release candidate in the future, but I'm not sure about that as of yet. ) The new nvidia is also working nicely on ARMv6, and its new (and presumably improved) renderer support will be the major win for those of us with ARMv7. The old devel packages are still in a development state, but a pretty solid (and stable) build has been completed (for the time being at least), and it's probably a good time to go install them. The latest is in its final version build (#4-0), with a lot of other stable changes now. The rebrand packages are the last stable additions available, and you can check them out here: https://github.
