(Tori St. John,AP). The man who gave police a tip of a possible connection between the May 19 murders in Manhattan and the sexual assaults at a Brooklyn mall was jailed and charged Wednesday with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of sodomy and two counts of first-degree indecent assault. Rudolph Soboroff, 50, was charged with first-degree murder after officers found a pair of naked photos of the New Jersey resident in his apartment room that appeared to have been stolen from his apartment complex, police said. They say he had sex with the woman before she turned on the light. He was charged with two counts of first-degree assault, both of which carry additional sentencing guidelines and will be assessed, police said. Soboroff was booked in the 6th District's Manhattan District Court at 6:10 a. Wednesday, according to New York District Attorney Cyrus Vance.
