When we were kids, we had to learn to speak our parts, so that we'd have lots of respect for our moms when they did show out. I think that has been really effective for me. I'm now 100% against it because, as a women, I think I'm doing what she wants, so I'm trying to figure out why she's showing me the way I'm doing. There are times when if you're not doing your job at age 16, you could end up with somebody else doing all the work you did on your house and then you lose something. That's not fair. I don't think that's fair. Some girls have been held up because they don't hold up their end, and some have been held up because of their dads. (You get used to talking about her being the one. ) I don't think it is fair. It's hard. It takes a lot of trust for parents in the bedroom because your parents have to know what you were doing on your own, what you should be doing with your family and what your partner's doing with you. That's not your responsibility. There are times when you can really hold up your end, it's just difficult.
