I don't know what it was that led him to be here. But he still found work - on the docks. So now it was time for me to start getting involved in making an actual difference. I began to learn more about the various places I was supposed to work here. I got to know all the people there. I even learned about their lives. Many of these people wanted to help me out with anything that was necessary to make a difference from afar - but the closest I got to them was in the city of Gershe, which is about an hour drive from here. All this money was going towards keeping me going. I got to be more confident in what I had to offer and to get ahead of my fellow students; but being able to help them with whatever they needed was something I needed to keep coming back. I felt really good about becoming a better member of the group. I have come to see there were still a lot of things I needed to improve on that day so I could help them achieve their goals. I have also been working on this new project which I don't want to spoil. I have seen people grow up to be even more of people who see themselves as leaders in society.
