This year's crop is called the Wildflowers, and it's a combination of a high and low fall. They're wildflowers that aren't usually seen, but they're beautiful and have an intoxicating fragrance. They're really one of those flowers that can make you nauseous because of the overwhelming amount of green foliage. And while the fall heat is only half of it, some folks aren't so lucky. They're an excellent way to go outdoors, in the heat of summer. So let's check out how they bloom over summer. It really doesn't have to be sunny or hot to see a beautiful wildflower in your yard this summer. All year long we've been seeing wildflowers everywhere and, as far back as the 1950s, there's been a lot of reports of wildflowers blossoming in many places in the USA (and Canada and New Zealand here), including here in Victoria, BC. If you happen to get caught in one of those wildflowers, this is what you'll see. In the winter the flowers move up their wings and show a great blue, orange, or pink color. You could even see them on their backs as they ripen.
