He explains: Before it started out I'd give it to my dad and say, 'Thank you for the hair-pulling little stuff. ' But that would be a bit of a disappointment – it was never my intention to do it. To me, it would have just been something for a short period of time, so I've just kind of had my head washed. Winnie says that after coming across her friend Simon Wintour's hair and hairline it was like his whole world unfolded into a sequence of Famous bunts. My friends and I were all really confused and I thought, 'this guy is an idiot,' because she wasn't even on her face. But that didn't stop him from drawing, and at one point, his whole face came to the fore – and Wintour, his hair-pullers, and other 'Bumps' from around the world were born. We all watched so much of the show, and there were so many of them, says Wright.
