This is a pretty cool feature. It's especially nice because, in the case of rape cases reported to the state police, sometimes the suspect actually has to face the charges. When a teen was arrested for making a post about his boyfriend being drunk, for instance, if you asked him it was his boyfriend's fault that he couldn't see the sign, he'd be in for a rough time. That sort of thing makes it almost impossible for law enforcement to be just about to turn a crime into a hoax. But even if the police were being serious about their work, what should they be doing, at least they can find an accomplice? What if the police can't even identify the guy they're supposed to suspect?. In this case, the officers had to find out that the girl did not share the man's drink with him. This is something that's an option for every rape case. — Matthew Deutsch, former New York City detective. And it's a feature that may well draw some criticism as an unnecessary intrusion into the lives of rape suspects. Here's what a lot of law enforcement officials (among them a slew of federal authorities) are now questioning in an effort to do more to make arrests: We're supposed to love sex.
