The dog was the last of the breeding effort, and it would go on to be adopted by a group of dogs, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The Kennel Club is aware of this situation, says spokesman Larry Kincaid. But it is not uncommon to see two to five of these puppies left at the end of a one-day breeder project. Kincaid says there were three female babies left, the most recent being in January. One of the older dogs was in such bad shape that he couldn't move very well as well as the other two were missing. The other two puppies were already very old, he said.
