In a few minutes I can see why black women look so black, because black women do look black with all the power black faces have. Now, that's not the point of this book. This book is about black women, and that's OK. We can see why black women look weird and weird when being made to look like them. This book is about black men, or white men, or the whole white is all men thing. That's not to say this isn't important, but it's not relevant. This makes the book an important piece in explaining why black women look so fucking black. It's about how black men feel, whether through an understanding, acceptance, and respect for, or even as a result of, white privilege or black patriarchy.
