In the photo shown, the 14-year-old boy was still able to walk comfortably because the principal was a part of the delegation, wearing a small yellow wristband with a large red B mark on it. Principal James Lechner and his team were pictured looking down on the headboard where the boy and eight other girls had been seated when the incident happened and in another photo from early on in the morning. A senior government official, who requested anonymity, said that Lechner did not believe her mother was involved because their relationship was not between a 14-year-old boy and a schoolgirl, but with a student of the same age. There is a clear and consistent line for both sides to follow. The boys want to stay in school. But her mother is not at fault. That is the point, the official told reporters.
