The wife, who has been accused of child abuse, has gone to a hospital to recover. However, one day before the incident, police released a statement, saying: We have received information that a group of people had sexual relations with someone without his consent. They were both young boys who were both wearing white underwear. They have since been charged and detained under the Sex Offenders Offences Act. Police said in a statement that they had taken CCTV footage on December 24 which showed a group of men and women having consensual sex. The footage does not prove anything about this incident which may be a result of sexual abuse, they added. These are the actions of a person of interest in custody, they added. Mr O'Connor, now 42, is facing 17 charges of child sex abuse, 15 of which relate to his wife's appearance and behaviour during the investigation.
