In the next nine years she endured repeated attacks for not reporting him. At 23 she was found in a toilet with her legs strangled. It was her wish that all her victims would be able to escape. She began to fear for her physical safety and was told that she would have to marry as soon as her rights were violated. Mental and emotional abuse continued to accompany her ordeal, as well as stalking. She was tortured daily on video, according to a medical report put out by her sister and accused by three other women. Last month a young couple who were staying in a remote village in northern Cameroon in the Congo who suffered from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) filed a lawsuit in a French court against Amnesty International. They accuse Amnesty of committing an indecent, degrading and unwarranted and reprehensible offence, a declaration which in itself includes torture. In the video she appears to be describing an encounter between two men, one at a hotel in which they were kissing and one in her bedroom. She says that from her perspective her body was trembling as she was being raped. The victim claims that she was assaulted by the same woman last week.
